Working with Parents
We know that parents and families are central to the wellbeing of each child and therefore we aim to make sure that you feel involved in your children’s experiences and development with us.
Communication and sharing information is really important to us. Your child’s ‘key person’ will share information with you on a daily basis and you can access your child’s ‘Learning Journal’ at any time.
We send newsletters to keep you informed of events in the nursery and hold regular parents' evenings as well as occasional social events.
Our Staff Team
We employ staff who are passionate and excited about working with children and we support our staff with ongoing training to enhance and develop their knowledge and skills and to facilitate their career progression.
The majority of our team are qualified to NVQ level 3 in Children’s Learning and Development and some are qualified at Level 4.
All our staff receive training in child protection (safeguarding), first aid, food hygiene, behaviour management and risk assessment. These qualifications are renewed on an ongoing basis. We also deliver training in-house on our policies and procedures and aspects of children’s learning and development.
